my professions are enchanting (116/160) and tailoring (105/150). I’m in competition with my guild to get a mount.

You can craft items to sell and put them up for sale on the Auction House in Stormwind or whereverdepending on your alliance/horde status. You can also farm items and Dis-enchant or Enchant them for people and sell them, or stand and offer enchants in the trade channel in Stormwind or something.

Once you get above level 40 or so you can also farm the Deadmines and sell the items to the vendors for cash so you can save up faster. Gold is a lot easier to come by once you hit 70, but it’s pretty slow going and hard to get below 60 or so.

Sorry, wish there was a better answer.

    Good luck!

Is this your only character? If so then I would run shadowfang keep, or other low instances, enchant or dis enchant the green items and auction them. Or farm the silk to make and enchant items for the AH.

If this is not your only, than do the same with your other characters.

My 36 mage has the same professions and I have been able to earn over 60 gold primarely doing this.

A good alt would be a jewelcrafter (if you have BC). In the early stages it is easy to level the profession and you can send a lot to your enchanter to disenchant.

Enchanting is not a very good profession to make gold with at low levels. If you really want to stockpile a bunch of gold, drop it and pick up mining. Mining is the best profession to make gold with a low levels.

That being said, your first mount is free for warlocks (at level 40).
